Dramatic Hollow Forms in Art Clay Silver
|
Intricate hollow-forms can be either the centerpiece of or part of a set of elements in an eye-catching necklace. Because the forms are constructed around a material that burns off in the kiln, they can be bold without being incredibly heavy or expensive. Techniques taught will include the use of cork clay as an armature, applique layering, syringe decoration, 24k gold keum-boo, finishing and pearl setting.
